MajorResolvedPost and calendar generation

Post and calendar generation was failing

Started Jul 20, 07:12 UTC · Resolved after 37 days

  1. Identified

New drafts and weekly calendar builds have been failing since 20 July. The credential our writing model uses stopped working, and every attempt to generate has errored since then. Nothing you had already written was affected, and no posts were published or changed without you. We are posting this after the fact rather than quietly fixing it, because the gap was ours and it was long.

  2. Resolved

Generation is working again. We have checked it end to end and our automated monitoring now reports it as healthy. If a draft or a calendar failed for you during the window, generating it again will work now. We are sorry it took this long to spot. The monitoring that should have caught it on day one is what this page now runs on.

Something broken that is still green here?

Automated checks catch whole services falling over. They do not catch everything, and they will not always catch it first. If Maven is not working for you, tell us and we will look, whatever this page says.
