Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Maven — your LinkedIn coach (“Maven”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use our website and services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short on purpose.
1. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to run the product:
- Account info. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a Google account identifier.
- LinkedIn profile URL. You paste a public LinkedIn URL. We scrape only publicly available profile data (headline, about, experience, featured posts). We do not log into LinkedIn as you.
- Discovery call data. Voice calls with our AI coach are recorded and transcribed so we can build your content plan. Audio and transcripts are stored against your account.
- Generated content. Drafts, calendars, and audits we produce for you are stored so you can return to them.
- Usage and device data. Standard logs (IP address, browser, pages visited, timestamps) for security, debugging, and analytics.
2. How we use information
- To provide the service: profile audit, voice discovery, content calendar.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To improve the product, including evaluating model output quality.
- To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not post anything to LinkedIn on your behalf. You copy and paste drafts yourself.
3. Subprocessors
We rely on a small set of vendors to operate the service. Each receives only the data needed for its job:
- Google (OAuth): sign-in.
- Neon: Postgres database hosting.
- Vercel: application hosting and edge delivery.
- Vapi: real-time voice infrastructure for the discovery call.
- Apify: public LinkedIn profile scraping.
- OpenAI / Anthropic / Google AI: LLM and image-generation providers used to power audits, transcripts, and drafts.
Vendors process data on our instructions and under their own security and privacy commitments.
4. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us. Voice recordings and transcripts can be deleted on request without deleting your full account.
Some data may be retained in encrypted backups for a limited period, and we may retain minimal records where required by law.
5. Cookies
We use first-party cookies for session management (keeping you signed in) and basic analytics. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email us at team.growleads@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
7. Security
We use industry-standard practices: encrypted transport (HTTPS), encrypted storage at rest with our hosting providers, and access controls scoped to the smallest team needed. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Maven is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International transfers
Our infrastructure and vendors may process data in the United States and other countries. By using Maven you consent to such cross-border processing.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notified by email.
